Hey, Russ. Why did Alexander Hamilton get shot?
Charlotte
Thanks for your question, Charlotte! Alexander Hamilton disagreed with a man named Aaron Burr. In 1804, Hamilton and Burr faced off in a duel. Hamilton was shot in the fight. Hi! I love the articles about animal moms. I have a question. Does a baby tiger start hairless?
Cora
I'm glad you enjoyed those articles! Baby tigers are not born hairless. Tigers are born with short, fluffy fur. And did you know that they have all of their stripes when they are born? 🐯

Hey, Russ. How is your day going? Mine is going great, so I hope yours is too. I have one question that I really want to ask. My question is... what genre is your favorite? Also, what is your favorite book in that genre? I hope you get back to me because I adore you and News-O-Matic! 🀩
Mia
Thank you for all the kind words, Mia! I love many genres of books, including science fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. Ever since I was a kid, my favorite book has been "Hope for the Flowers" by Trina Paulus. It's a story about how two caterpillars find the courage to become butterflies. You can read more about it in the article "Books We Love: Hope for the Flowers."

Dear Russ, I have a question about the internet. How do you know if you can trust the internet, and if you ask a question on the internet how do you know if the words on it are true?
Mia
That is a great question, Mia! Just like someone speaking to you in real like can lie or be wrong about a fact, people on the internet can be wrong too! The best way to trust information on the internet is to check the sources. Then you know where the info came from. You can learn if facts came from experts, or if the info is just someone's idea.
