Sure thing, Valeska! Kahlo was born in Mexico City, Mexico, in 1907. She got a disease called polio when she was just 6 years old. That made her right leg much thinner than her left. Kahlo walked with a limp because of this. She started painting in 1925. One of her works is called “Self-Portrait in a Velvet Dress.” It is one of the first of many self-portraits that Kahlo would create in her life. These paintings of herself are still her most famous works today! 🖌️
