What mistakes did humans make to cause the Chernobyl disaster?
Owen
Good question, Owen! Workers were doing a test at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in 1986. However, they made several mistakes. For example, the power was too low to do a test. They also prevented the plant from shutting down safely. The staff did not have enough training to prepare for the test. So, it was unsafe for workers to try. When they did, their actions caused one of the reactors to explode. Over the past 40 years, people have learned from their mistakes.

What does population growth mean?
Kannon
Great question, Kannon! A population is the number of people or animals living in a place. Population growth happens when a population increases over a period of time! Imagine a small town. Ten people live there. A year later, there are twenty people. That means the town has increased! This is called population growth! 📈

Nolan
Hi, Nolan! That sounds pretty fun. Ravens are smart birds, and they remember people who treat them well. You must've been kind to that raven for it to bring you gifts! 🐦⬛

What's your favorite color?
Amelia
Pale blue is my favorite color. This is because of the way the Earth looks from space. It's sometimes called the Pale Blue Dot! 🌎
