Popcorn for Pops!

Make a corny dad joke craft as a Father’s Day gift.

If there’s something that every father loves, it’s a good dad joke. Some may call these jokes corny. But they’ll fit right in for Father’s Day on June 18. Whether it’s your dad, grandfather, uncle, or someone else special — get the day poppin’ with this popcorn craft!

What You’ll Need
Blue paper
Yellow, red, and white paint as well as any other color you would like
Paintbrushes
Yellow pom-poms of sizes
Glue
Sheet of paper

Steps
1. Start with the caption. That way, you will know how big to paint your popcorn bucket. At the top of a sheet of paper, paint the words “There’s no butter”. News-O-Matic used blue and yellow paint, but you can use any colors.

2. At the bottom of the page, paint the words “than you”. (TIP: Have fun with . You can use thin letters or thick, print or cursive. You can also use any color paint.)

3. In the center of the page, draw a popcorn bucket in red paint. It should be a rectangle that toward the bottom. Paint red and white stripes to decorate the bucket.

4. In the center of the bucket, write “POP” in yellow paint over the stripes. You can add little lines around the word as decoration.

5. When the paint is dry, glue on pom-poms. These will look like buttery popcorn! A mix of small, medium, and large pom-poms works best. Glue them at the top of the bucket. Add some overflowing and falling around the page.

6. Give your popcorn craft to a lucky poppa!
