Does this sound like fun to you? Then get ready to write! You can choose any woman from the Hall of Fame. Tell why she inspires you! There are now 302 women in the Hall. But the museum will soon announce the for 2023. You can write about one of them too!
Enter the at www.newsomatic.org/contest. It’s open to anyone in the United States who is age 14 or younger. Essays are limited to 500 words. The deadline is April 11. Hall inductees will select the winner. That will include media expert Jean Kilbourne and businesswoman Indra Nooyi.
News-O-Matic has written about many of the women in the Hall. There have been articles about Harriet Tubman and Susan B. Anthony. They fought for equal rights. We’ve covered singers Aretha Franklin and Ella Fitzgerald. There were also stories about every inductee from the Class of 2021.
