The table is set, and the turkey smells great. But wait! Thanksgiving isn’t just a time to dig in. It’s a chance to dig deep and think about what you are grateful for. News-O-Matic (NOM) readers have a lot to in 2022. They shared what they are thankful for this holiday season.
“I’m so excited for Thanksgiving!” said Nevaeh. “One thing that I am thankful for is my family.” Vivienne had a similar idea. “I’m thankful for my family and my friends,” the reader shared.
Liliana’s thanks just keep going and going. “I’m thankful for my birthday and my family and my friends and my life and my parents — and their friends and family too!” Liliana listed.
“I am thankful for my family, my friends, and… News-O-Matic!” Olive wrote with a “hehe” added on. Other readers sent in love for NOM too. “I am very thankful for News-O-Matic,” Naomi said.
Kira’s thanks are a mix of all of the above. “I’m thankful for my friends and family because I probably can’t live without them,” the reader explained. “I’m also thankful for NOM for me lots of important news in this world!”
One reader appreciates an important person. “I’m thankful to my teacher for helping me,” Sarah wrote.
Other readers are grateful for the things in life that bring joy — like video game ! “I am thankful for my Nintendo Switch,” a reader called Pineapple said. “It is really fun to play games on.” Pineapple gets gaming with “Super Mario Party, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Just Dance 2022, and, of course, Let’s Go, Pikachu!”
Natalie threw pets into the mix. “I am thankful for dance, my cats, my friends, and my family!” the reader shared.
Some people may be most grateful for Thanksgiving food. “What’s your favorite Thanksgiving meal?” wondered Camor. “Mine is probably turkey.” And as far as a favorite dessert? “Mine is sweet potato pie,” Camor answered.
Holiday plans are something to look forward to as well. “This Thanksgiving, I’m going to go flower shopping with my grandma,” Emily wrote. “We’re going to make a mini . What flower should I pick to grow inside?”
One reader is thankful that Thanksgiving will soon be over. “Let’s skip to Christmas!” said Cleetus the Farmer. “It’s the best holiday, and everybody knows it!” the reader added with a smiley face.
